Resistance, in my experience, has often times disguised itself as comfort. As I age, I’m less concerned about fumbling. I’ve fucied up enough to know I can recover. But the fuzzy area between comfort and lethargy? That is the place where I most likely experience the fumble.
I fumbled yesterday … and given this post, I just decided to run the ball for the extra yard.

Yep. It’s like “R” has finally been put to rest and then suddenly it senses how close you are to pay dirt. Awakening and attempting to stop you again with its last breath. Yet, if you got this far, beginning at the 1 yard line 98 yards back, I find myself pretty damn determined and battle hardened. Even if we have to improvise to cross that damn goal line!
Like so many creative ventures, the path is unique, but teaches us how to finish.
